Product Overview

Details
The library includes a custom rigged Wurlitzer 200, a vintage 1930s Vibraphone, a Jenco Celeste, and a 1970s Rhodes electric piano. Each instrument is recorded with multiple mic positions, including close mics using Telefunken ELA M 251s for clarity, Coles 4038 ribbon mics for warmth, and Neumann M49s for a wider ambient capture. The Wurlitzer also features a unique plate reverb setup for added depth.
Vespertone's morphing engine employs granular synthesis to allow real-time sound manipulation, with three character dials—Body, Soul, and Spirit—enabling further sonic exploration. The Body dial morphs the acoustic sound into a more abstract version, while the Soul and Spirit dials introduce effects and spaciousness, respectively. This combination of classic timbres and innovative processing makes Vespertone suitable for a range of scoring contexts, from intimate soundscapes to more expansive, ethereal environments.
