The Tack Piano features a Yamaha U1 piano, uniquely modified with a custom-built bar that positions metallic pins between the hammers and strings, enhancing its distinctive sound. The library includes up to six round-robin samples and eight velocity layers, ensuring a dynamic and expressive performance. Articulations include both lyrical legato and short, punchy notes, allowing for a wide range of musical expression.
Three mic positions—close, mid, and far—are available, along with a mix channel that combines these perspectives for flexible mixing options. The full mixer interface allows for control over pan, volume, and stereo width, while the effects page supports a variety of processing options, including EQ, compression, and modulation effects.
