The library includes all major and minor chords, with an intelligent built-in sequencer that recognizes chords and plays them back in a realistic manner. This sequencer allows for a variety of common guitar patterns, enabling the performance of extended chords like add9, 7ths, and 6ths, while omitting suspended, augmented, or diminished chords. The instrument features a full mixer for individual control over each guitar, including options for volume, pan, mute, and solo.

Strum Guitar also offers extensive effects capabilities, allowing users to apply EQ, compression, modulation, and more in a flexible order. The settings page provides control over round-robin sampling, velocity curves, and the volume of fret and string noises, enhancing the realism of the performance. With five velocity layers and four round-robin samples, the instrument captures a wide dynamic range, making it versatile for various musical contexts.
