Strum Designer is a pattern-based engine for building realistic strummed guitar parts from playable strokes. It aims to deliver convincing rhythm beds with minimal setup.
Details
Patterns are constructed from individual strokes (down/up/partials) with chord detection that adapts to your voicings. Velocity shaping, swing and humanization introduce subtle timing and volume variance so repeated bars do not feel looped. Because patterns are MIDI‑driven, you can resequence, transpose or reharmonize without re‑recording.
The engine exposes strum speed, damping and accent controls, plus per‑string emphasis for tailoring groove. An integrated mixer with compression, EQ and ambience helps the part lock with drums and bass, while keeping CPU overhead modest for template use. It’s a quick way to prototype strummed beds that still follow your harmonic rhythm.
