The library includes over 570 high-resolution sounds, recorded closely to capture the intimate timbre of each instrument. Articulations range from sharp, piercing high notes to dark, resonant crescendos, allowing for a wide dynamic palette. The sounds have been heavily processed to create hair-raising effects, making them suitable for jump scares and eerie atmospheres.
In addition to the designed sounds, String Ache offers a construction kit with more than 270 original recordings from double bass, cello, viola, and violin.
