The library includes solo and ensemble articulations for a variety of instruments, such as surdos (18", 20", and 22"), snare, timba, repenique, tamborim, rocar, agogó, and whistle. Each articulation is recorded with four velocity layers and six round robins, ensuring dynamic and expressive performances. The recordings take place in a dry studio environment, utilizing two microphone positions—close and far—allowing for flexible mixing options.

In addition to individual instrument control, Samba Drums features a built-in sequencer with predefined batucada rhythms, enabling users to create complex patterns easily.
