Ruins offers multiple mic perspectives, including a direct input and various amplifier setups, alongside a re-amped signal recorded in Berlin’s Funkhaus sound chamber. The built-in convolution engine enhances this palette with a curated library of impulse responses, ideal for experimental sound design. With over 250 presets and a multi-sample engine that layers guitar phrases, the library supports a wide range of creative applications, from atmospheric soundscapes to intricate rhythmic patterns.

The engine allows for the creation of up to five loops per layer, each with unique parameters for pitch and filtering, facilitating the development of evolving sonic sequences.
