Details
The library features a variety of articulations, including palm muted, light palm muted, and open sustains, allowing for expressive playing styles. Each articulation is sampled with attention to detail, ensuring that the intimate timbre retains key noise and detail-like nuances. The instrument includes four distinct mic signals: Direct, Ribbon, Dynamic, and Tube, each providing a unique tonal quality, from clean and even to rich and aggressive.
Additionally, Retrograde Bass offers a "Warped" signal path that processes the original samples for a lo-fi character, as well as a synth signal blending option with three waveforms—Square, Sawtooth, and Sine. This flexibility allows for creative layering and sound design. The effects rack includes various tools such as saturation, reverb, and modulation effects, enabling further transformation of the sound to suit diverse scoring needs.
