Porphyra Hybrid is a versatile synthesizer for Kontakt Player that merges a powerful wavetable engine with sampling capabilities, allowing for rich sonic textures and precise control. This dual-layer instrument features a wavetable synthesizer in one layer and a sampler in the other, enabling a wide range of sound design possibilities.

The wavetable engine includes a collection of 200 wavetables, offering various modes for shaping and manipulation, such as INHARMONIC and SHAPERS. The sampler layer boasts over 500 sampled sounds, encompassing analog and digital synths, acoustic instruments, and more. Users can crossfade between layers using the mod wheel, and randomisation options add organic variability to patches.

Porphyra Hybrid allows for the import of custom samples, automatically analysing and mapping their pitch. The instrument also features a Mod Oscillator for frequency and phase modulation, enhancing sound design capabilities. A comprehensive modulation system includes three envelopes and five LFOs, including a unique LFO X that generates random waveforms. With four effects slots for creative processing, Porphyra Hybrid is designed for expressive playability, supporting full polyphonic aftertouch and deep integration with Native Instruments hardware.
