The instrument features four hybrid articulations, including two pianos, strings, and a flute, all of which are processed through a complex network of effects and sequencers. Each note is equipped with its own sequencer, allowing for varied rates, steps, and swing settings, which can be adjusted independently or collectively. Plato includes multiple effects sequencers, such as OOOF for tape saturation, WOOF for EQ, and DOOF for dynamic processing, each with numerous morphable presets.
