PHARLIGHT is a vocal‑driven granular instrument that turns human timbre into pads, hooks and evolving atmospheres. It combines a Grain module with a conventional Sample layer so you can blend airy vowels, breaths and abstract textures with more stable tonal content. An X‑Y performance panel routes morphing and effects, making it quick to record expressive sweeps for cinematic or electronic contexts.

Factory content focuses on curated vocal materials recorded and designed specifically for granular processing. The Grain module handles micro‑slices and motion while the Sample layer anchors pitch and body; together they cover sustained beds, rhythmic pulses and lead‑like gestures. Each layer offers its own effect slots, joined by master and send effects, all performable from the X‑Y matrix so complex timbral moves can be played rather than automated.

Snapshot presets are organized for scoring and production use—from delicate ambience to cutting hooks—and can be adapted quickly via envelope, filter and tuning controls. Because it runs in Kontakt / Kontakt Player, PHARLIGHT drops easily into existing templates and can export MIDI gestures for reuse elsewhere.
