The instrument features extensive multi-sampling with over 4,600 samples, providing a rich palette for performance. It includes four round robins and five morphing dynamic layers, ensuring a natural and varied response. The flute's articulation options encompass modeled vibrato, overblown notes, and playable harmonics, alongside effects like growls and fluttertonguing. Key noises are realistically captured through physically modeled fingerings, enhancing the authenticity of legato passages.

Passion Flute is recorded with five different microphone positions, allowing for detailed mixing control. The interface supports real-time adjustments for expression, dynamics, and vibrato, with options for automation via MIDI controllers. Users can also import and export mix presets, facilitating collaboration and sharing among composers.
