Product Overview
Oceania II expands on its predecessor by featuring a 100-singer choir, comprising 50 men and 50 women, recorded separately to enhance clarity and detail. Details
The library captures performances in a hall environment, utilising both close and Decca mic positions to provide options for intimacy or spaciousness. The design incorporates phrases chopped from connected performances, ensuring spontaneity and syllable cohesion. Each syllable has two release types—normal and those ending in “-s”—which can be triggered based on playing speed, enhancing the expressiveness of the choir.
Oceania II features intricate programming that allows for flexibility in phrase length, making it suitable for various scoring contexts. The GUI includes controls for dynamic volume, syllable selection, and balance adjustments, enabling composers to tailor the sound to their needs. Additionally, a sample delay of 80 ms is noted, with a simple MIDI track adjustment recommended for precise timing.
