This library features a diverse range of instruments, including strings, woodwinds, brass, and a Baroque-inspired choir, all recorded with specialist musicians to evoke the rich textures of an earlier era.

Details

The library includes three string ensembles, five solo woodwinds, and four brass instruments, alongside a chamber choir. Strings are recorded using gut strings and period bows, resulting in a warm, complex sound. The woodwinds, such as the Baroque flute and oboe, provide mellow tones, while the brass instruments, including valveless horns and trumpets, deliver a direct and powerful sound. The choir features male and female vocalists singing German syllables from Bach’s Passions, producing pure, natural tones.

Recording took place at Berlin’s Teldex Studio, ensuring high-quality capture. The samples are tuned to A4=415 Hz, common for Baroque music, but mapped a half step lower for compatibility with modern tuning. The library supports multiple mic positions, allowing for flexible mixing options. The SINE player enhances usability with features like auto keyswitching and easy remapping, making it suitable for scoring period dramas or fantasy-themed projects.
