Strezov Sampling
Piano & Marimba
Product Overview
MINImalism is an electroacoustic virtual instrument that captures the essence of rhythmic motion through its unique combination of two pianos and a marimba, all playing perfect fifths in unison. This library is designed to evoke a mellow, percussive sound, making it suitable for contemporary compositions inspired by minimalist composers.
Details
The library was recorded in the Sofia Session Studio using multiple microphones, which were later summed into three distinct mic positions. This approach allows for a versatile sound palette, whether you prefer a more intimate or expansive sonic environment. The user interface is streamlined, offering three main patches that provide access to the library's full potential.
Within each instrument patch, users can navigate through a presets section to quickly select from pre-made sounds. The FX section includes a variety of effects such as Compressor, Chorus, Flanger, Distortion, Equalizer, and Convolution Reverb with 30 different impulse responses, enabling further sound design and customization. This flexibility makes MINImalism a valuable tool for adding depth and texture to modern scores.
