Built from a detailed recording of a 130 cm Chinese Wind Gong, the library offers a range of tonalities from magical hits to expansive soundscapes, making it suitable for both dramatic scoring and atmospheric compositions.

The library features six instrument NKIs, including hits recorded with four different mallets—small, medium, big, and wood—each with five velocity layers. These samples capture the gong's rich decay, lasting approximately 60 seconds. Additional patches include expanded hits, natural swells, cinematic impacts, and unique soundscapes, all designed to provide versatility in layering and textural exploration.

Recording was accomplished using two stereo pairs of Neumann microphones through both a REDD.47 tube preamp for a warmer tone and a NEVE 1073 transistor preamp for clarity. The user interface allows for gain control over these preamps and includes built-in effects such as convolution reverb, plate reverb, and various filters. The modulation wheel adds further control over intensity, enhancing the dynamic range of the patches. This library is well-suited for composers looking to integrate deep, resonant gong sounds into their scores, whether for impactful moments or subtle atmospheric layers.
