The library features a total of 77 instruments, with each kit offering unique tonal qualities. The Tea Towel kit employs a vintage Ludwig setup with tea towels on the heads, producing a soft, muted sound. The Classic Rock kit utilizes a Ludwig Vistalite, delivering an open and powerful tone, while the Brush kit, based on a Yamaha drum set, is tailored for jazz applications. Each kit is recorded with up to six mic positions, allowing for a natural bleed that enhances the mixing experience.

Legacy Drums includes six round-robin repetitions and 15,972 samples, providing a rich dynamic range with 15 velocity layers. The mixer interface allows for independent control of each microphone, facilitating detailed adjustments. Additionally, the effects section offers 23 DSP effects, including compression and EQ, alongside a convolution engine with over 30 impulse responses. Settings can be customized for MIDI response, including velocity curves and advanced mapping controls, ensuring a tailored performance experience.
