Details
The library includes over 200 multisampled articulations across various orchestral families. Strings are represented by trios of bass, cello, and violin, while woodwinds feature a low ensemble of baritone saxophone, contrabassoon, and bass clarinet, alongside a high ensemble of oboe, clarinet, and bassoon, plus a trio of flutes. Brass is covered with a low trombone section and a high ensemble of trumpet and flugelhorn. Additional articulations from solo violin and flautist sessions enhance the library's depth.
Recorded in the Wood Room at Real World Studios, the instrument captures the warmth and richness of the space using hyper-focused spot mics, complemented by ambient mics to retain the room's character. This setup allows for a full-spectrum dynamic mix, balancing intimacy with the ensemble's collective sound. The library prioritizes authentic performances, ensuring that the rawness and emotional nuances of the instruments are preserved.
With a streamlined interface, Landforms Elements supports a simplified workflow, making it accessible for composers looking to integrate complex orchestral textures into their projects without overwhelming complexity. The library's design encourages creative exploration, mirroring natural phenomena through evolving phrases and rhythmic fusions.
