The library includes two solo hang instruments, one with a mellow timbre and the other offering a punchier sound. Both are sampled in detail, providing options for mixing to achieve a richer sonic palette. Articulations include muted glove solos and trills, enhancing the expressive capabilities of the instrument.

In addition to solo performances, Hang Melo 3 offers a variety of patterns and phrases, including composer and tribal loops, as well as natural and experimental sequences. This allows for the integration of micro patterns into solos or the creation of complete tracks using the pattern library. The instrument is built on the base engine v3, featuring sample start randomisation for added realism, and was recorded with two performers, including Claudio Vadala.
