Hammers + Waves - Acoustic features a collection of three distinct pianos, each offering unique tonal characteristics. The library includes a Yamaha C6 Conservatory grand, a 52" UX upright, and a vintage 1890 Schaff Brothers upright, providing a range of expressive possibilities for various musical contexts.

The Modern Grand is noted for its balanced tone, making it suitable for both solo performances and ensemble settings. The UX upright, with its extra radial bracing, delivers a rich sound and even response, while the Relic upright is chosen for its character and historical vibe. Each instrument is sampled with over 16 velocities and release samples per note, ensuring dynamic responsiveness.

The library is recorded with two blendable mic positions, close and far, allowing for flexibility in mixing. Additional features include true sympathetic resonance samples and a Pre-Strike mode for enhanced realism. With over 16,000 samples and 150 meta-tagged NKS compatible presets, the instrument supports a wide range of creative applications, from cinematic scoring to contemporary music production.
