This library features multiple round-robins in both pick directions, ensuring ample variation during playback. With three velocity layers, it provides a wide dynamic range, accommodating a variety of playing styles. Articulations include sustains, tremolo, palm mutes, natural harmonics, and even misfretted notes, which can be randomly triggered to enhance realism. The inclusion of a built-in strumming pattern editor and adjustable pick position allows for authentic strumming techniques.

Developed in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, the library was recorded by multi-instrumentalist Ryan Tilby, ensuring a high level of performance quality. The sampling session utilized analog audio equipment to emphasize the instrument's tonal richness. The interface is designed for ease of use, featuring a powerful mapping system for triggering articulations based on various conditions, such as velocity ranges and MIDI CCs. This makes the Evolution Mandolin not only realistic but also highly playable, suitable for a range of scoring contexts.
