Evolution Flatwound Bass features a vintage P-style electric bass outfitted with flatwound strings, delivering a deep and rich tonal character. Developed in collaboration with Rosewood Recording Company, the library captures the essence of the instrument while providing an enhanced signal that highlights its tonal qualities.

Details

The library includes a variety of articulations such as sustains, palm mutes, and natural harmonics, available in both fingerstyle and picked techniques. It also supports slapping, popping, and performance effects like string slaps and slides. Each articulation is recorded with three dynamic layers and up to four round-robins, ensuring a realistic and expressive performance.

Utilizing the Evolution guitar engine, the instrument offers a customizable mapping system that allows for flexible triggering of articulations based on velocity ranges, MIDI CCs, and keyswitches. The built-in effects engine provides a range of instantly usable bass tones, while adjustable pick position enhances the instrument's playability. The library is compatible with the free Kontakt Player, making it accessible without needing the full version of Kontakt.
