The instrument includes four main components: a True Legato Vocal Instrument, Vocal Phrases Instrument, Vocal Builder, and Synth. The True Legato features new articulations with multisample layers that respond to MIDI velocity, offering a natural release and vibrato without looping. Over of new vocal phrases are included, alongside a significant expansion of the synth component with more than of wavetable sounds, textures, and percussion.

Ethera Evi 2.0 also introduces a new scripted legato feature and an arpeggiator with multiple play modes and a pitch sequencer. The library boasts over of samples, including a vintage piano recorded in both stereo and mono.
