The instrument features a comprehensive selection of articulations, including soft, mid, and hard hits across various percussion types such as Taikos, snares, and toms. Each patch is recorded with four microphone positions—Close, Overhead, Room, and Hall—allowing for flexible control over the spatial characteristics of the sound. The library includes three round-robin layers for enhanced realism and dynamic variation.

In addition to the core instrument patches, Epic Percussion 2 includes 70 built-in rhythmic phrases with automatic time-stretching, over 100 MIDI loops for quick inspiration, and more than 40 cinematic sound effects like hits and transitions. The interface integrates essential processing tools, including EQ, compression, and reverb, along with a unique "EPICNESS" knob for adding saturation and enhancing transients. This makes it easy to shape the sound directly within your DAW, streamlining the workflow for creating impactful percussion sections.
