Details
The library includes performances from a large ensemble recorded in Synchron Stage A and a smaller ensemble captured in the drier acoustics of Stage B. Each ensemble is meticulously recorded with multiple microphone setups, providing options for blending ambient and close-mic sounds. The articulations cover a comprehensive range, including various short and long note techniques, legato options, and dynamic variations, ensuring versatility for different scoring needs.
Articulations include spiccato, staccato, and a variety of sustained notes with vibrato options. The legato features both regular and largo styles, with additional performance controls for nuanced expression. The Synchron Player interface allows for intuitive mixing and sound customization, enabling composers to seamlessly transition between the two ensembles or use them in tandem for richer textures. This flexibility makes Duality Strings Regular suitable for a wide array of scoring contexts, from film and television to contemporary classical compositions.
