The instrument includes 11 deeply multi-sampled sound sources, amounting to of material, which can be shaped using the Grist, ADSR, Morph, and Space controls. Each knob serves multiple functions, enabling users to create everything from warped pianos to lush, evolving pads. The addition of BPM-synced drift control introduces a tape-like wow and flutter effect, while BPM-synced tremolo adds rhythmic movement.

Drift 001 also features 100 snapshots for quick access to various sound settings, along with 50 custom impulse response reverbs for further tonal shaping. The mod wheel can be assigned to different parameters for each sound source, enhancing expressiveness. The compact mode allows for modular stacking of sounds, expanding creative possibilities. This library is well-suited for scoring a variety of contexts, from film to game soundtracks, where atmospheric depth and character are essential.
