Product Overview
Desk Bell is a unique library featuring a 3-inch polished brass bell, delivering a clear and resonant "ding." Recorded both closely in a dry studio and in the expansive acoustics of St. Paul's Church, it offers a versatile sound palette suitable for various musical contexts.
Details
The library includes a primary ding articulation with 10 round-robin variations across 9 velocity layers for the close position, along with 5 velocities for three different cathedral placements: close, mid-hall, and far. Additional articulations feature tightly and loosely muted dings, as well as mechanical clapper sound effects, enhancing playability and expressive potential.
Beyond the core samples, the instrument is equipped with an intuitive GUI that supports extensive sound design capabilities. It includes 20 ambient patches crafted from the original recordings, 12 wavetables, and 20 custom FX presets. The interface features four independent sonic layers, each with performance controls such as an arpeggiator, LFO, and a master effects rack with 27 DSP modules, allowing for significant sonic transformation. This library is designed to inspire creativity across genres, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced composers alike.
