Claire: Avant reimagines the concert grand as a textural instrument. Recorded with the lid off, it exposes the tactile side of the piano—scraped and brushed strings, plucked harmonics, muted una corda gestures and mallet‑like attacks—captured in close and room perspectives for anything from intimate detail to expansive ambience.

Beyond a playable core, Avant emphasizes sound design. The Piano page controls timbre and mechanical character, while FX and Space pages handle EQ, dynamics, saturation, stereo width and multiple reverbs and delays. The Particles engine (as in Noire/Piano Colors) generates responsive harmonics and subtle rhythms that react to your touch, encouraging evolving underscore and experimental cues.
