Choir
- Choir Pool is a sample library designed for Kontakt.
- It features a collection of choir sounds created using unreliable choir bots.
Product Overview
Choir Pool offers a unique take on choral sounds, featuring non-human vocal timbres derived from vintage voice-modelling hardware. This library presents a range of otherworldly choir bots that evoke human qualities while remaining distinctly synthetic, making it suitable for experimental compositions and sound design.
Details
The library includes six Kontakt instruments, each with a variety of snapshots, allowing for quick access to different vocal textures. The sound sets cover a diverse range of styles, including male and female choirs, humming, and more abstract configurations like "Butch Chorus" and "Lady Vocode." Each sound can be morphed in real-time using the mod wheel, providing dynamic control over the articulations.
With 900 samples recorded at 24-bit quality, the library features a range of performance controls, including ADSR shaping, pitch bend adjustments, and stereo width manipulation. The inclusion of 80 custom convolution impulse responses adds depth and character to the sounds. Additionally, the interface supports MIDI learn functionality for external controllers, enhancing playability and integration into your workflow.
