Details
Each instrument spans five octaves and includes four dynamic layers, recorded using two different cassette decks. This setup results in a total of 979 samples, with each deck contributing its unique tonal qualities. The first deck offers a dark, wooden sound, while the second introduces pitch instability due to a loose drive belt, creating a more aggressive, metallic tone. Noise has been carefully managed to prevent stacking when playing multiple notes, allowing for a more realistic sound. A dedicated noise knob provides flexibility in adjusting the volume of added noise, enhancing the organic feel of the instrument.
The Kontakt version includes custom impulse responses for reverb, offering options for placement before or after insert effects. Simulated round-robin functionality enhances the realism of faster passages, available in both Kontakt and SFZ formats. The interface is designed for quick sound design, with numerous presets included to facilitate immediate creativity. This library serves as a versatile tool for those seeking vintage sounds and unique textures in their productions.
