The French harpsichord, modeled after a mid-18th century Henry Hemsch instrument, offers three stops and a harp stop, producing a clear and bell-like tone. In contrast, the Italian harpsichord, crafted by Markus Fischinger, features two stops and delivers a rich, full-bodied sound. Both instruments include multiple stop combinations, allowing for a variety of tonal options.

Berlin Harpsichords is equipped with round-robins for sustains and staccatos, enhancing playability and realism. The collection provides six mic positions, including close and spot mics, tree mics, and a surround channel, enabling detailed control over the spatial characteristics of the sound.
