Bassynth is a hybrid instrument that merges detailed multi-samples with wavetable synthesis, creating a diverse palette of organic and powerful bass tones. It allows for the combination of analogue and digital oscillators with various sources, including processed upright and electric bass guitars, as well as cinematic brass and 808s, making it suitable for modern electronic music and cinematic scores.

The library features over 800 multi-sampled sound sources, including vintage and modern synths, acoustic instruments, and processed bass guitars. With more than 290 presets, Bassynth offers a wide range of options for sound design. The XY Pad enables blending and morphing of up to 64 parameters simultaneously, while eight Macro Sliders can be assigned to control multiple parameters for performance and sound design.

Each of the four voices can dynamically load different sound sources, allowing for creative layering. The instrument supports various voice modes, including mono, legato, and polyphonic, with options for glide and round robins. Extensive modulation capabilities, including filters and effects, enhance the sound design process, while a dedicated visual mixer provides control over volume, pan, and effects sends for each voice.
