Angelic Chimes is a struck wind chimes library designed for Kontakt, featuring a vibrant tone with exceptional sustain, with some chimes ringing for over 30 seconds. This library offers a range of tonal possibilities, making it suitable for both atmospheric pads and percussive accents.

Details

The library includes six sets of chimes across various ranges: bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano, and sopranino. Each set can be accessed as a combined playable patch or individually mapped across the keyboard. The samples were recorded at WaterSound Studios, ensuring a high-quality capture. Mic positions include close, mid, and far signals, allowing for a dry, intimate sound or a more expansive, blended tone suitable for larger ensembles.

Four dynamic layers are present, with up to six alternating round-robin samples for each layer, enhancing the realism and expressiveness of the instrument. Built-in controls for attack, decay, and release enable further shaping of the chimes’ volume envelope, facilitating a wide range of creative applications.
