Action Woodwinds is a cinematic woodwind library built around playable phrase design. It captures a 13‑player section and lets you assemble themes from interchangeable phrase elements, or perform with single articulations when you need full control.

Details

Content is organized into more than 160 themes assembled from a bank of over 1,000 phrases. Live Modules—short, pre‑recorded building blocks at multiple pitches and dynamics—can be chained and edited, or you can switch to Melody/Arpeggio modes to perform lines directly from the keyboard. A Scaler keeps output inside any of 20 scale types, Custom mode lets you decide exactly which chord‑tones play per step, and an 8va option instantly doubles material an octave up.

Both High and Low ensembles have their own level and mic balances, so you can push flutes/oboes/clarinets forward or weight cues with bassoons and contrabass clarinet. Performances can be exported as MIDI to drive other libraries. Multiple microphone positions are provided for staging, and the instrument runs in Kontakt Player 7.8.1 or higher.
