The instrument encompasses six categories, showcasing a rich palette of sounds, including vocal techniques from the Ca trù tradition, various string instruments like the Đàn tranh and Đàn nhị, and unique percussion such as the Trong Ban and Chèo drums. Each sound is recorded with up to seven round robins, ensuring expressive and dynamic performances. The library also features up to two microphone channels, allowing for flexibility in mixing and spatial placement.

Utilizing the MNDALA 2 engine, Ha Noi offers a custom animation-driven performance interface that enhances user interaction. The soundscapes capture the essence of Northern Vietnam, including urban ambiances and natural elements, providing a rich backdrop for scoring. With high-resolution samples recorded at up to 384 kHz and 32-bit, the library maintains industry-leading audio quality, making it suitable for both film scoring and experimental music projects.
